Case Study #1One of our customers in the Stage Lighting market asked us to help them develop a new 110 ohm Audio Cable for digital applications. Our Engineers determined that we could customize the construction of the cable to meet their specified parameters. In less than 30 days, EIS collaborated with the customer on the design and produced and shipped the final product in time for the customer to introduce it at a trade show. The result: The customer won Product of the Year at the show for the second consecutive year using our cables.
Case Study #2A customer manufacturing sub-assemblies for use in refrigerators needed a cable that complied with FDA regulation 21 CFR. (A regulation that specifies Substances Prohibited From Indirect Addition to Human Food Through Food-Contact Surfaces.) Our engineers worked with our compound supplier and developed a Low-taste, Low-odor jacket material that complied with the FDA regulation. The result has been several years of successful business for EIS and our customer.
Case Study #3The hurricanes that struck the Gulf Coast in 2005 were an unprecedented disaster, destroying lives, property and infrastructure. A customer in the region needed enough hook-up wire for rebuilding operations on a 24/7 basis. They needed a dramatic increase in production from us. The result: we immediately adjusted our production schedule, never missed a shipment, and the customer is busy rebuilding the region.
